Ohio Congressman Tim Ryan, D-Niles, left, talks with Scott Owens, senior project adviser for PTT Global Chemical America’s proposed ethane cracker plant at Dilles Bottom at the planned plant construction site Wednesday afternoon. Ryan, who is running for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by Republican Rob Portman, met with numerous local officials and labor leaders while in the area. Running against him for the Democrat nomination in the May 3 primary are Morgan Harper and Traci Johnson.
